My Story

After a decade in the classroom, it was time for a change. Teaching was rewarding (and challenging) in its own way, but through my experiences I discovered my real passion - making content accessible to a wide audience. And as a historian (MA), I do this through what I love best - stories.

Through my work, I aim to make stories come alive in ways that draw and engage people.

As a writer and editor, I combine my skills from the classroom with my passion for history and storytelling. making learning fun for the popular audience.

When I was recruiting writers, what stood out to me most about Kelli’s writing sample is that she not only knew how to tell a good story but she also could present complex history in layman’s terms.
